Bulk 9mm ammo?

Weird, Tenda delivered to my place in the East Koots a little while ago, it just cost my an extra $9 for shipping instead of the usual free. I'd say send it to me and I'd deliver it when I go visit the inlaws but we don't have a trip planned West for a few months and I might end up using up your ammo before I get there :p

Is there any forsale for a decent price instead of an expensive price. I call decent $260.00 for 1000. Wild West sells American Eagle at this price but of course their out of stock.

The problem I have found with some retailers that show extremely low prices but out of stock, is that those were the prices before everything went out of stock, and it may have been out of stock for over a year now previous to the spike in ammo prices we have seen this year.

One of our retailers showed 500 rounds of Federal Syntech 124gr at $189.99 a case, but most retailers (if they have it in stock) have this at $290.00 a case now. The prices for 9mm have soared for some makes/models within the past six-eight months alone.

So I'd always be leery at low prices on out of stock items. They just haven't adjusted it yet for any recent shipments and some retailers have had "out of stock" on those items going on two years and more now. If/when new shipments come in, I can guarantee those prices will not be kept the same.

Thanks for the input.

Tenda has a sale on, bought what I needed.

Wonder if you bought the same thing I just did - case of 2000 Blazers 115gr. from Tenda. I just got an FX9 from Bullseye which should be in the mail here any day now...but from looking at the manual it appears as if it is designed for 115gr ammo...I typically don't shoot 115gr and don't have much of it, but that Tenda case of 2000 Blazer 9mm was too good to pass up. I realize it wasn't 2016 prices, but a good deal based on current pricing which seems to keep going up.

Yes sir same as me.

Good score, my friend.

I hope the shipping was free! 40 boxes of 9mm can get rather heavy...

I recently ordered 20 boxes from another retailer outside of Ontario. It was delivered by UPS. Guess the physical fitness of the drivers are not held to the same standard they used to be - my Ring doorbell caught the UPS driver literally drop the box on my front step from a standing position - guess he didn't feel like bending over or put down his cell phone on which he was talking. Due to no padding from the case of ammo, all of the boxes sustained some packaging damage. The rounds were OK, but that left a bad taste in my mouth - when ordering a case of ammo in the future, I will be very leery to have it shipped...especially by UPS. I was waffling whether I should call UPS, because if I then tell them it was ammo, I am not sure whether that will be something I really want to divulge, particularly when the ammo itself appears OK...the boxes are pretty distressed though, and I am not sure whether UPS will do anything for me. It is not the retailer's fault, so may just have to eat this one.

Yes free shipping, that's the only way I would buy bulk to top up the inventory, I'm good now for a few years.

Handloading supplies have gone up some, but not in proportion to factory rolled stuff. I have been making my own for 12 years now and marvel at guys I see in 3gun comps pulling out factory ammo. I wonder how they can afford it. Something to consider.

Is that recorded? It might be worth sending it in as a complaint. That's lazy garbage, no need to divulge the contents. A reprimand to that guy might resonate with his branch and make them smarten the f**k up.

Back in the day 35 years ago I reloaded everything when I was competing but now at my age I only get out to maybe 4 competitions a year so I don't shoot much and don't have any reloading equipment any more. But your right for active shooters that go through 1000 rounds a week reloading is the only way to go.

Yes it is...recorded in broad daylight. Saved the video clip.

Now to be fair to UPS, they have delivered other ammo here, guns, etc., all without incident. But I don't know if it's the weight of the case or whatever. He didn't throw the box, and it wasn't a heave, but definitely a one handed drop - other hand was talking on phone. Didn't even ring my doorbell or anything after. I just caught it in reviewing my video after getting the box and finding dents on the boxes. It may have been dropped twice because both ends have dented boxes but a couple in the middle were ok. I assumed the box didn't bounce and landed on the other side, but who knows.

When I mean divulge, I'm just not sure whether if I file a complaint UPS will ask me to send photos of the damage. I can certainly send the video along with the tracking info to show what was delivered at that time was indeed the box for which the tracking number represented.
