Bulk BDX Ammo in Durham Area

For those looking, Gagnon Sports has bulk pistol ammo. 9mm, 40 S&W, and 45 ACP. I bought a box of the 9mm and it shot well in my CZ 75b.

Did you chrony this out of your Stock3? I usually get higher PF in the 124gr at 137.

Thanks Maurice, you are correct the 124 is a bit higher power factor but not much. The 147 which they don't do in the 2400 deal is 132 power factor and softer shooting.

Price. You don't sacrifice any reliability or accuracy but get the best price. That's about it. Plus they aren't too snappy.

Sorry can't help you with that topic. I am buying this stuff for IPSC when I run out of my reloads and don't have a chance to roll my own before a match.

The box of the 147gr even says 132PF but I haven't chronied them yet.

So I have since experimented with both the 124gr and the 147gr. While the 147gr may be a little less in the power factor and slightly softer to shoot, it is loaded to around 1.29 OAL and a TMJ flat point while the 124gr is loaded to around 1.21 OAL and a FMJ. The extra length and bullet shape of the 147gr caused feeding issues in my friends CZ Shadow and to a lesser extent my Tanfoglio. For me I just had to slap the slide foward maybe twice out of every 100-200 rounds while the Shadow had an issue every mag.

A friend and I split on 2400 124gr. $499 for 2400 rounds was too good to pass up even though I also reload my own. Going to make me lazy and my presses squeaky.

Another update. It is accurate and reliable after 500 rounds not a single issue but leaves a lot of unburnt powder in the gun!!!

They're back in stock at Gagnon! Just ordered some 9mm and 45ACP BDX from them. Not sure when I'll have a chance to try these out at a range or on zombies whichever comes first. That's some cheap ammo but if they perform as good as peeps say, best bang for the buck I suppose.

Are the shell casings actually that blue in colour? Would make it easy to find your spent shells after your session but are they reloadable?
