hey guys,

last year a member directed me to a great site in the states that sells bulk bullets, brass, and other reloading supplies. I ordered some 30 cal projectiles, and they're awesome.

unfortunately, I lost the site address and I can't seem to remember the cgn'er that referred me to these guys.

does anyone have a supplier that is good and cheap, and offers great variety?

also, I don't need any reminders about the laws in the states re: shipping such supplies over the boarder - I'm just looking for a good source. if you can post a reply or PM me, that'd be appreciated.

cheers fellow reloaders.

No I have first quality products.

I dont get what the big deal is with these nosler seconds why is everyone so interested in them you can shoot a first quality nosler product for the same money... they are only 3-5 dollars off normal price

What nosler bullet are you after?

They are a lot more than 3-5 dollars less, that is attraction. For example Wholesale sells 180 grain 30 calibre bullets for $52.00 while Mike at Reloading International sells the "seconds" for ~$27.00 ($22.00 US) That is pretty close to half-price.

Also, for what it's worth, they are not "seconds" as normally thought of but rather over-runs of bullets designed to head to ammo manufacturers for use in factory ammunition.

Plus shipping taxes and paperwork... how much cheaper really is it... I am talking landed cost to your door...

I can offer nosler .308 180 ballistic silver tips $34.50 you need to tell me what exactly your looking for so we can compare apples to apples, if your looking for cheap 18.95 for 100pcs of 150 fmj cant get much cheaper then that.

Drew; you are missing the point.. Everybody wants these things for free... Shipping, handling, permits and exchange mean nothing They believe that dealers are making 100-500% on everything and as a result anything you say is tainted...

I was under the impression that the USA state Dept. closed the door to reloading components being exported from the USA to Canadian customers? I used to buy from Sinclairs last spring and could not get them to ship to Canada in the summer, same with that fellow at reloading seconds.com. FS

Mike at Reloading International takes care of getting the required export permit. He charges 3% of the order value for this service. Shipping is very reasonable and up to 20 pounds of bullets can be delivered to Canada for $27.75 USD.

BTW. Reloading International used to be known as Reloading Seconds. Like a lot of U.S. dealers he ran up against the changing laws in that country. Unlike most U.S. dealers however rather than just cut off the Canadian buyers - as did Sinclairs - he went with the flow and changed his operation to conform with the legal requirements and still provide service to his Canadian clients.

For all those whining about pricing, I would strongly suggest you get'em while you can.

The dollar is now at 1.32US and likely to keep falling due to our very stable govt. End of Sept, it was 1.06US.

Also, ALL US dist are being swamped with volume orders as the US shooters bulk up before the Dems come into power.

No one knows when shooting will be on their agenda but it will get there eventually.

These are likely the good old days until the US dollar crashes under the burden of its printing presses.

I can respond with inventory in a few weeks, maybe a month.

Going through two layers of govt for paperwork can take up to 2 months BEFORE the item even ships.

When I book an order with my customers, I am obligated to the price on the PO. With the currency doing what it has, this is actually going to cost me money on some orders.

If you think margins are thick on shooting supplies, I would love to work with your distributors.

msg.drew keep up the good work and hopefully, the dollar will not kill us.

What people have to understand is this stuff is getting harder and harder to legally get into canada if you dont support your local stores and canadian supply chain then don't cry when you can't get anything... We dont have large canadian stockpiles of this stuff in country when I phone my supplier its not like they go out back to the warehouse and pick the order and ship it. They have to put the order in to the american companies... then we are at the mercy of hornady, lee, whatever... and when I say order I am not talking about 10 boxes of bullets we are talking 50000 -100000 pcs. For an order of 50000 fmj it can take hornady sometimes 6 months to deliver that...

Not only are we haveing a battel with the liberals about taking out guns we are loosing a battel with the state deparment... every week something new is restricted... new fee here... and it goes on and on.

The Americans are afraid of what obama will do they are buying up everything and anything right now...

Been waiting on 308 Win brass for a couple of months now. None in stock, no projected delivery date, first come first serve.

Best part, pricing keeps going up and the stuff isn't shipping yet.

Joy....

My pal Rick, at R&Rbullets@mountaincable.net in Hamilton casts all kinds of lead bullets. Handgun bullets a specialty, but he does cast rifle bullets.
Rick makes a great 9mm bullet that I use, and my friends are using his 40S&W caliber 155grain SWC cast bullet with excellent results.

Don't we have any Canadian Manufacturers of bullets other than cast bullets? surely someone in Canada has to be smart enough to realize the potential profits.
