Bulk Remington .223 Bullets

I tried them with my 180B and Tikka Varmint. Don't like them.

At $14/box, the Hornady SP shoots better if my memory serves me right. For 223s, I am now shooting V-Max exclusively. A few bucks more per 100 with a lot better accuracy.

Anyone reload these 1000 rnd .55gr .223 remington bulk packs. Are they any good? What recipe are you using with them?

I like'm in the my Stevens 200.

21.5 gr IMR 4198. Primer brand unimportant. I just loaded 250 of them in anticipation of gopher vaporization season. Plus I was bored after Xmas.

Hakx

PS - Where did you find them? I could only get the 100's, 'cause everywhere else (cabela's, russels, SIR) - all backordered?

I actually dont no who has them. Ive only just found out about them coming in 1000rnd bulk. Anytime Ive asked about bulk anything in SIR I just get a blank look cuz the guy figures a 100 rnd box is bulk!

My next question is what do they cost?

P&d has bulk packs of bullets but not from Remington. Speer and maybe Sierra. The Win bags of 100 at 14.00 per bag isn't a bad deal. My 22-250 realy likes the Sierra 50 grain spitzer.
Don't forget componants are due to have another price increase in the near future, and some companies in the USA are now shipping loading componants like brass and bullets to Canada. FS
