Where would someone go if he wanted to make a really big bulk purchuse of .22lr ammunition? Most places in Canada that i have found just give you a deal(so called deal) if you lots of ammo, but i had a friend who trucked to the states and used to bring back metal ammo boxes full of any caliber you wanted. I was wondering if anyone knows a dealer who deals in these large boxes of ammunition and if they are any good? I would also like one or two of the ammo boxes if anyone know where to obtain the old ammunition boxes to

15 bucks a box for 500 rounds of ammo is a deal IMO. How much cheaper do you want it to get?
wholesale sports' website says they have federal american eagles for 15.99 for 500, or federal bulk, 525 rounds for the same price. i dont know what the difference between bulk and non bulk is though. you can find a wholesale sports in many of the major cities in alberta, saskatchewan and manitoba.

Wally Mart has 500 Winchester Dynapoint for ~$16, Speciality Sports / Langley Gun & Tackle 500s of Winchester Expert or CCI standard for about $23. Problem with mailorder bulk is that handling charge.

southern saskatchewan. When there is only one place to buy ammunition (mostly the coop) they tend to jack the prices up. you can buy cheap ammo but it is also cheap in quality sometimes. thats why I'm looking to buy bulk online.

Chezboy, walmart has bulk packs ofwinchester Xperts for $16.80, Dynapoints for 17.80, and federal 745 for 16.80. Wholesale sports in wpg sells american eagle for 15.99 per brick. I like the Xpert and A.E. The Xperts don't work as well below -10, but are pretty good otherwise. A local gun store sells A.E for 14.99. Find someone local and try to swing a deal. The shipping always kills us. My $.02 is american eagles are more accurate than the fed value packs.
