I know it's alittle off tangent, but everyone here needs them for this category, so it may be appropriate. Any domestic sources for bulk trigger locks - like 10 or so? Preferably combo locks as that is most likely easier to deal with than keys.

I was thinking of getting the yellow 'Club combination trigger lock' from Ebay unless there is a competitive Cdn source for something. Anyone have a heads up for something?

I just took a look and saw these. Do these satisfy the laws for transfer? Because if so, that's pretty cheap.

My LGS gave me one when the factory lock wouldn't function on my new gun. It works, but it's a pain in the a$$. You have to unscrew what is essentially a bolt and nut everytime you leave the house/arrive at the range and vice versa. Now multiply that work for each gun you transport.

I agree. That and the plastic tabs break if you over tighten them making them useless. I like the all metal ones though.

You're transporting 10 or more guns with you at one time?

He's likely like me and just leaves them on even in the safe. It's just less hassle that way.

Don't think small. If you do this you want to buy enough that are all keyed alike to make sure you only need ONE key. Start thinking of the 36 pack so you're set for years to come.... :D

The best thing about the Canada Ammo locks (other than price) is their extremely small size.

They will fit in any pistol case without any problems. The big combination locks will not.

Just buy Franzen locks online

This is where I get mine

Franzen locks are double sided keys, unlike others which are single sided. Have 8 all keyed alike, kinda future proofed when I bought. They were all individual but I was able to sift through the bin at alflahertys and find identical numbers. They'd probably do the same for you if ya ordered by phone. They come in in different numbered batches so if I wanted more, I'd have to wait for that batch to come around again.
