Well, I bought a bulk box of 500 rounds of Winchester Wildcat 22LR. I had bad luck with it. About 5 or so rounds out of about 200 were duds. To make it worse the dud would be stuck in the chamber and the next round would try to feed but would hit the previous round, causing the new one to deform. I had to throw away about 10 rounds because of this.

I'm firing them through a 10/22 with a dlask 12.5 inch bull barrel. I'm not sure what the best 22LR ammo is to get, but I'm looking forward to trying something else.
 
CCI Mini Mag is about the best you can get, I avoid winchester rimfire ammo like the plague it is utter #### to put it nicely.

When I cannot get that I get CCI Blazer 40grain lead solid or Federal 525 36grain ammo.

The winchester 333/555 value pack hollow point stuff is the worst I have ever seen or used in my life, horribly inconsistent molding and powder loads, no wonder its $20 and change a box....it is CRAP.
 
Thanks for the ammo suggestions. Yeah, the Winchester is really bad. It was only $17.99 for 500, but I got what I paid for. I bought some CCI subsonic too, but I haven't tried it yet.
