Hey guys, after getting all enthusiastic and getting all my parts together and starting my Stag bull Barrel build.... I come to find the wrench I bought for AR15's from Magdump.ca - Doesn't fit a bull barrel nut (which I bough from them :bangHead: ).

This wrench the nut tool opening is too tiny:

Does anyone know where I can find a Barrel nut wrench that is LARGE for bull barrels and on this kind of barrel nut:

looks like a standard nut, unless I am missing something. you might want to invest in a wrench that engages the nut at 3 or 4 different points.

That wrench should fit the shown barrel nut. As mentioned it looks standard. The raised nubs on the wrench should line up with the divots in the barrel nut.

####ty wrenches are ####ty. If it's for standard handguards (delta ring, wave spring etc) it should be the same size OD as all other barrel nuts
Get a good wrench - or pay someone to do it.

It is a good wrench, its just a larger less seen free float barrel nut. Its 1.36" diameter and its a free float barrel nut.

Would your wrench be big enough Calvin? (If so i would happily trade a beer for rental)

That wrench (in the OP’s post) doesn’t look like it works with a standard barrel nut (the nut the OP pictured). Does it have teeth like the one in Calvin’s picture? Looks like junk. Get a DPMS wrench.

Why the frack would people sell such oversized barrel nuts for a free float barrel????

**** For the record - ifs from MAGDUMP.CA - despite how cool these hand guards are, the trouble AIN'T worth it. Stay clear of their Free Floats

Yours Measure big enough Calvin ? If not I will be having to find one online and buy it or modify one/make one.

I can’t see any picture in the last post OP, but in your first post you have a cheap wrench, you need a wrench like Calvin’s for the nut you pictured in your first post of this thread. The tool is wrong, not the nut.

I was thinking that but wasn’t sure you could get a wrench for $3.50, must have come from Asia?

I use the DPMS AR wrench, has fit every milspec nut and most aftermarket/proprietary nuts that use the pins. Great for most flashhiders and castle nuts as well.

Yup China, hahaha I had 5 dollars, and I've hammered on it, beaten it, and still nothing, where I cut it, beat on it, it has little to no rust, and that was after 2 floods in my basement, must be stainless
