The pictures of the mono-metal bullets that show little or no expansion should not be taken
as evidence that I think they are no good. I think that they usually do a pretty fair job of
expanding in game and while they may kill a bit "slower" than some frangible bullets, they are
for the most part, reliable.
The problem most often shows up when velocity has dropped off considerably, or when the
bullet length is such that stability is not fully accomplished by the rifling twist that sent the
bullet on it's way. You may notice that there is a recovered and expanded TTSX in the picture
