Bullet moulds

I am looking into starting to cast my own bullets. I am not sure what style/number of bullet I need. I am planning to start with my .44 mag and understand six cavity moulds are better.

Does anyone know of a website/book for information?:confused:
 
Lee part number 90339 is the mould you're after
You'll need a set of handles to go with it. Part number is 90005.
You'll need some bullet lube. Although it's a bit messy, the easiest is Lee liquid alox. Part number 90177.
You'll also want a sizing die kit. Lee part number 90062. You'll get one bottle of lube in the kit.
Also, you'll need to bell mouth your cases slightly. Lee universal expander die. Part number 90798.

6 cavity molds are nice for better production but it might be a little easier to start with a single or double cavity until you have some of the basics figured out. Maybe try one in a different design than the 6 cavity first.

Not trying to discourage you, its just easier to sort out any problems and your technique with a smaller mold. The Lyman cast bullet reloading book is very good and there are a number of websites that have a lot of info. No doubt Youtube will have some too.

The classic bullet for the 44 mag is the Elmer Keith designed, #429421.
I would get a Lyman, two cavity mold.
 
I have a Saeco #441

Classic Keith design in a 4 cavity mold, Fantastic results.

Also a Lyman 429244 GC for full power loads

Lee 6 cavity is good for production but it does compromise quality.
