I am just awaiting my new toy Remington 375 RUM arrival and I was thinking of what bullets to load up for this little girl. It will be used for Moose and Elk. I was thinking about a 260 Grain Nosler Accubond behind a sh*t load of H4831SC. But I wouldn't mind to shooting a heavier bullet. Just wondering what everyone else out there is shooting in this caliber?

Thanks :D

Hmmm looking at the 270 TSX its BC is lower vs the 260 grain Nosler AB 0.284 for the TSX vs 0.507 for the Nosler AB. I was wondering what type of speeds you are getting with a 270 TSX? And what type of powder you are using?

270 TSX - B.C. 0.326, SD = 0.274

260 AB - B.C. 0.473 SD = 0.264

The TSX is designed to penetrate without losing any weight, the AB is not, so the higher BC really doesn't mean anything.

Well I have some 270 TSX I can load them up and see how they work. Maybe try some RL19. See what types of speed I get. Any one out there using any 300 grains? I want to cook up some 300 grain loads as well?

There is no replacement for displacement - that is why we buy big guns in the first place. 300 grains should be used in the form of a Swift A Frame or Partition. Let 'em have it!! If you wanted something lighter than that, you would have bought a .338 Ultra mangle-um (I have one of those too and they are also nice).

I agree with Saskcop no replacement for displacement I have a 300 ultra mag as well and I can throw 200 grains bullets just fine I would like to step it up to a 300 grain bullet forsure with the 375. Nosler Partition is my first choice on the 300 grain bullet. I'll look at those Swift A-Frames as well today.
