I'm toying around with the idea of making up a utility rifle in 22-250. I will likely get a fast twist barrel, as I won't be shooting gophers with it. Mostly targets and medium size varmints (racoons, skunks, trespassers) and most likely never beyond 300 yards. Likely range would be from 25-100 yards.
I'll probably make up fireforming ammo with my SS-109 bullets, but what would you recommend for a general use heavy weight .224 bullet?
