Ok here goes I'm weighing my bullets and I've found there's not a single one that weighs exactly right. It's not a huge difference, I'm only talking about half a grain +/-. I've sorted through about 70 bullets and can't find 3 that match, some are quite close only differing by about .04grain I won't get into which brand they are because I don't want all the brand wars. I'm just wondering is it worth just barely touching the flat base of the boat tail with 400-600 grit sand paper to bring them all down to the same weight. Am I crazy?

How much of a weight difference from bullet to bullet will actually cause a change in poi?

Am I getting way too far off the deep end? I'm only looking to develop load for a 400m maximum distance.

Thanks

Not crazy at all

I just sorted 1000 merican eagle .22 by weight, .5 gr. variation for the lot, 10% low, 75% median, 15% high
Now they are accurized ! )
