What suggestions would you fellas have for long range huning bullets out of a 300 win mag 1 in 10 twist barrel.

Thanks

Nosler Accubonds LR. Advertised to expand down to 1300 FPS impact velocity. I have not tried them out myself (yet) so I cannot offer firsthand experience.

As Haakon has pointed out, you need to make sure the bullet you choose will expand properly or have enough terminal velocity to effect a clean and humane kill.
More info required. What will you be hunting and what type of terrain or location will you be hunting in? Ganderite is one of the to go to advice guru's on CGN when it comes to questions such as yours.

Nosler 210 grain LRAB, hands down. The 300 Win Mag will drive it to very near 3000,
and it is one sleek projectile. My #1 Ruger chambered in 308 Norma Magnum shoots
this bullet into .65 moa, and it is a 1-10 twist. If I am sighted in +3" at 100, I am
only down 2.75 @400, 5¾ @500, and 9½ @ 600. That is mighty flat, and it is still
tripping along well above 2000 fps....plenty of energy. Dave.

Really? Wow that is flat.

That is from actual shooting.....not from a chart. I start that 210 LRAB
at 2995 average for 5 shots. Only shot one animal so far [a moose], but
that bullet made it through and out the far side of his chest at 125 yards
or so. Should be even better out further. Dave.

I cant see how you came up with those numbers. With a 275yd zero you would be 3" high at 100 and still 11 low at 400 and 27 low at 500. Did you maybe use the g1 bc in a g7 calculator?

I use a 200gr ELD-X at 3040 fps from my 1:10 300 Win Mag, loaded to 3.46" OAL. It's dropping 52" at 600y (2700 feet elevation, zeroed at 230y, 2" high at 140) and still going 2218 fps. I practice on steel targets at 600y. In September I shot a black bear at 530 yards and it felt like a chip shot hehe. My scope has a mil reticle and mil turret which I prefer over MOA adjustments. I can shoot consistent 5-shot 1.25" groups at 200y and sometimes get lucky with a sub-1" group. BUT...I had to sort the bullets by base-to-ogive length! They vary quite a bit. And then I seat them to a CBTO measurement, not COL.

Yeah I'm gonna have to call bs. Nothing shoots that flat.

That bullet has .661bc. At 3000 fps

https://www.nosler.com/trophy-grade-long-range-ammunition 30 RUM has similar numbers and not even close.

Anything with a bc of .450 or more @ 3000fps or more, zeroed at 300yds will give you roughly
+4 at 150
-4 at 350
-10 at 400
-18 at 450
-2 feet ish at 500
-3ish at 550
-4ish at 600
Easy to remember.
But for moose I never shoot farther than the length of my rope in my truck
