bullet weights in ORA practice/matches

Question: How is this enforced?
Well at Cedar springs & Winona it goes something like this:
A little man wearing camo, driving a blue pickup truck shows up at the range while you're shooting. He asks what ammo you're using, looks at your rifle, looks at his list to see if your rifle is on the approved list, then shows you to the gate. Your gun/barrel length/muzzle velocity/bullet weight combination must fit within his range template, and be on his approved list, or it's buh-bye.

DND ranges are not private ranges. The DND make policy within their own reasons. You either abide by it or leave. That's why some people build their own ranges. More freedom. You get to make your own rules.

and to think the last time I shot at base Bordom....I was shooting 175SMK's at 2680FPS......they could have kicked me out.....It would have to change soon with the DND using .50BMG and 338LM would it not??

Those bullets are fine for Borden. The anal retentive 147 gr is only for Cedar Springs and Winona for now.
