Bullet weights

Hi, so this morning I went and cleaned Wally World out of their 150 gr 308 Federal powershok. After being rung through and getting home I realized that two of the boxes I bought (you are not allowed to touch the ammo until its been paid for and out the door) were 180gr, not the 150's my norcs love.

Will the heavier bullets be good to go in my m305? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I know some guys load 167-168s or whatever for their rifles, but other than a change in POI are the heavy 180gr bullets going to make my m305 sad?

It'll be fine, but you may want to take it back anyway. It's not going to shoot the same way as the 150's. Different POI. Kind of depends on what you do with your rifle.

180's are a little heavy for M305's. They will beat up your gun.
