So tried to buy some bullets for reloading from Tenda been waiting for 2 weeks for the order to go through, Finally they get back to me and tell me that they cannot ship ammo and reloading bullets are now considered ammo so they cannot be shipped by UPS.................... How much dumber are people going to get at this point ?

Ammunition is an actual explosive hazardous shipping material is now the same thing as inanimate metal things ! I can't even begin to reason this one out !

had the same issue a few months ago.called them up to discuss the problem and suggested that i would pay the difference to get it shipped with canada post.they agreed and i received my bullets no problem.great service from tenda.

Bullets have other uses that have nothing to do with firearms. If my intent is to use the bullet-shaped lead objects as fishing weights why should I NOT be allowed to have my fishing weights mailed to me? Since when are lead non-regulated objects banned from mailing? I didn't get the memo.

good grief. there appears to be no limit to the idiocy in this country

Not idiocy...this is all part of their multi pronged disarmament agenda.
They attack you from every which possible angle.

This means going after anything that is needed for the guns to function.
Reloading equipment will likely be next.

Frankly, I don't think this is real.

Ammunition is a listed dangerous good, bullets are not. Somebody is misunderstanding something, somewhere. A knowledgeable UPS employee would not reject a shipment of bullets.

Yes, I danced around this pole with Tenda as well. UPS is the issue, not CP. My
"bullets" are being shipped via Canada Post. [BTW, up to 11 lbs can go in a flat
rate parcel] .Dave.

"The following note has been added to your order:

Unfortunately, we have just been notified by UPS that due to your area, it is serviced by a third courier aside from UPS and because of this, there cannot be ammunition(bullet treated as ammo) or firearms delivery."

I sent my reply about how bullets are not ammunition and they responded

"No worries, we have argued with shipping as well but when the package gets to the sorting facility, they are often held cause it comes up as point objects that look like ammunition and they will bounce the package back to us"

So because bullets "look" like ammunition they are now classified as ammunition and hazardous explosive shipping materials that cannot be shipped by UPS, Oh and my area is a city of over 70,000 people and over 100,000 in the near vicinity......................................

All this tells me is that Tenda does not know how to escalate a customer service problem beyond the peons on the floor, up to someone who knows what they are doing.

It tells me they are a company that employs complete morons who have no clue as to what they are doing and to stupid to figure out what something actually is !

Just got a message from Tenda about my bullet package - UPS tracking number

Hasn't shipped yet - but it is through UPS - ???????

It seems the issue is if in your area its actual UPS delivery or if they farm it out to 3rd party companies for actual delivery ! for some reason an area with over 100,000 people and the largest oilfield, agricultural and forestry production in Alberta is not a market UPS deems interested in doing business with. So if you have actual UPS delivery apparently you can get delivery of your hazardous explosive shipping materials like inanimate metal objects that are pointed
