I know this has been addressed before but it seems the rules are changing. I would like to buy cast bullets from Beartooth Bullets. They do not send to Canada. What must I do to get some? If I have them sent to a US address what do I need to import/export them without getting into trouble? Thansk for any input-karl

Check at the ATF web page. I think you can't lawfully aquire anything for export. Their ammunition definition states cases powder primers and projectiles if memory serves me right. Lead in Canada is not ammo. It is to them though. It has to do with their export licence. Example I called Cabelas to order a certain die, nope can't ship it. Called Lyman direct their licence allows them to as does Dillon . I'll go one further .I tried ordering a new hunting knife from Cabelas -nope can't do it its an offensive weapon. Bought it in Canada same price no shipping costs. You may have to go through a dealer here , ouch re markup though. If I find the ATF page I'll post it asap here for you.

Check the USA GUN CONTROL ACT 1968 Under definitions-ammunition means ammunition , cartridge cases powder primers and bullets designed for use in any type of firearm. Hope this helps.
