It is my understanding that at least one bullet maker makes jacketed bullets preferably, for the 475 Linebaugh, 480 Ruger etc. I have been unable to find out who actually makes them and who distributes them. Looking at making a plinking load for my 470 N.E. that doesn't cost 3 or 4 bucks a pop..........I do believe I have checked all the usual suspects and site sponsors..........Anyone ??????????

Hornady makes a 325 + a 400 grain/.475 bullet did you check with Corlaines in BC and Korth in AB ? Might want to consider a 500gr GC bullet mold cheaper in the long run.......Harold

I quit casting several years ago..........I buy Bullet Barn for calibers that don't offer jacketed cause I can't cast that cheap. However I would prefer to run a light weight jacketed for plinking with my 470 NE. I have not checked with Corlane's yet.........thanks.

I have made inquiries every where and have several people looking to see if there are any to be ordered in Canada. Then while perusing the back pages of the "reloading section" on the EE I come across another CGNer with 300 of them surplus to his inventory requirements. We made a very good deal and I have 300 jacketed 325 gn Hornadys winging their way to me now.
One does occasionally find a good deal on the EE............

I shall now endeavor to find a load that regulates and shoots to POA with my double some where around 1800 fps or so, this should be very pleasant to shoot in a 10 1/2 lb rifle..........like a moderate 45-70 load in a 10 lb rifle and costing about the same.
