have used various CED chronos over the years, and a LabRadar for a couple years and just got a BulletSeeker Mach 4 chrono. Really liking it
Pros:
- small & compact
- rechargeable/replaceable battery - have run 10 separate chrono sessions on one charge no problem
- no adjustments required and has picked up all shots once I figured out where to fire from (the LabRadar, I always had to tweak pistol vs rifle, sensitivity, offset, ... and then it would still fail to register some shots)
- pairs with android & iOS devices and very easy to navigate the menu
- can mount directly onto a pic rail so long as it has an unobstructed view of the bullet path
Cons:
- not sure about Canadian dealers, as I bought mine off a CGN'er here on the equipment exchange
- export function needs to be improved - I just want summary of speed of each shot. Currently it exports all data and most of it I don't want/need
- only captures muzzle velocity
- the quick release mounting on the pic rail did not feel as robust, so I decided to mount it on a compact tripod
- parallel testing with the LabRadar, it was consistent 3-5fps slower measure 124gr 9mm rounds at ~1050fps
- they advertise it can capture continuous shots, but at least on my iPhone, I have to wait to make sure each shot is recorded to go on to the next shot. This may be just this version of the iOS app which is relatively new so may be addressed later.
Here it is mounted on my handgun

I drilled & tapped a pic rail so I could mount it on a compact tripod

I found best results firing beside it, or directly over top of it with handgun or rifle. Needs to be within 4" of the BulletSeeker

an example of what you see during your chrono session.
