Bullpup Tacti-Cooey build *Part 1*

Just waiting on a new barrel, then i'm going to pick back up on this project this week.
I'll start a part 2 thread once i do

Hey guys...
I've been swamped with school work lately and my GF bought me a couple new games for the 360,so i haven't really been at this project.

I squared up the block, took it down to size and layed out my lines this week,i'll start hoggin' it out and get it a little closer to fitting and trigger set-up once that's done.

Tiriaq was nice enough to send me a barrel for nothing for the project.
It's a 64A barrel but 5 minutes with a slitting saw and a drill press and it'll be a 64b.

Some progress will come this week hopefully, but don't hold me to it as there's still some Wiser's left in that bottle :)

Hi (Ronin),
I know I probably sound stupid here but I was led to believe, from the post below and others, that ALL Bullpups were prohibited. Is there some loophole so this one will be legal or are all the "experts" on this site just misinformed as to Bullpup rules? I was trying to figure one out for my 10/22 but after reading all the posts on the subject I could find I figured it was probably illegal so I let it drop.

You'll have to make a new receiver for it,and make it unable to fire when outside of the stock.
I've let this project slip for now,too much going on

This goes around and around.
Bullpup stocks ARE prohibited devices, like the Muzzlelite stock mentionned in the other thread you noted.
The powers that be have ruled that the stock of the Walther .22 bullpup is a prohibited device.
Bullpup firearms are NOT specifically prohibited.
Bullpup firearms which do not use a detachable stock are entirely legal, either non-restricted or restricted, depending on things like barrel and overall length.
The Tavor is an example of a modern, non-restricted bullpup rifle. It does not have a separate detachable stock. The ergonomic portions of the rifle are also functional parts of the mechanism. There is no separate, removable stock.
OK?
