Bump firing

Hey guys have any of you tried this? I know its inaccruate, but I tried it on my cz 858 today and it is fun. I saw a video on www.ar15.com and this guy was doing it from the shoulder and he was pretty damn accurate with it too.

Have any of you guys experimented with it?

I was at the range the other day with my SKS and I totally forgot to give it a try. Low on ammo, need to order some more, maybe wil give it a try then.

IF you are going to enter the genre of "Bump Firers", you need to , at least, do it in good form.

First, ALWAYS wear military green.

Second, ALWAYS stare maniacly at any observers.

Third, Breathe heavily and "wheez" your breath.

Lastly, after you have completed ALWAYS scream at teh top of your lungs "I AM INVINCIBLE!!!" (Continue to wheez and stare maniacly at everyone watching).


Follow the above rules, then be proud of your new skills and the good will that you have generated for the gun community.

Right. So do it indoors at short range with a laser. The odd stray will still hit the backstop.

That right there is the best arguement against bump fireing. The only time I tried it was out in the middle of no where shooting into a coulie. No chance of a flier. Never try it at a range.

yeah I wouldn't do it at a range either, I was out in the middle of nowhere. it was fun emptying 5 rounds really fast, but completely useless for anything.
