Burris - 3X-9X-40mm Full Field II Scope(Opinions)

They are quite good, optics similar to a Leupold VX11, better than a elite 3200. Good eye relief, the only wierd thing is the whole eye piece turns when you adjust the power, means you cant put Butler flip up caps on the back end. They are usually available on Ebay for less than $200 US.

I'm pretty much a Bushnell Elite or Leupold VXII/III scope guy but I will give ya that Burris Fullfields are a good scope. If the price is right, go for it.

I like mine as well have used them on a 30-378 and a 338 wm with problems returning to 0 every time zero shot 20 rounds with the big guy and shot 150 round on my 338 and it held zero and stayed clear, does not ever rattle LOL!
It found a home on my 7mm RUM and is still good as new.
Even took it on a plan ride and off the plane remained zero at 100.
That is better than some top names I flew with.

Great bang for the buck

took a fulfield 11 as a back up scope to africa in may one of my buddies bushnell packed it in so we mounted it up on his rifle & I don't think I'm getting it back , He loves it I myself shot with it a bit & thought it to be a better value than alot of other scopes so I guess I'll have to find another.

I just bought one. They are VERY bright with good ER. Better than elite 3200. Ballistic plex reticle is nice but is useless in non-optimal light. If you like Butler Creek flip up caps, you will not like the rotating power adjustment. Excellent quality for the money.

I owned a FFII 3-9x40, it rode atop my 7saum and then my 223.

it was a decent scope, but not as good as a VXII

but if the price is right, under $225, Id buy it

Just bought one at sale price from Phoenix (they have a stack of 'em!) and couldn't be happier. Comparable in image quality to the VXII or the better 3200, crisp adjustments, very nice piece o' glass.

Go to e-bay you can pick one up for $149.99 plus shipping I have 5 of them from ebay after taxes and shipping cost $220.00cnd hard to beat!!:)

Exactly !!! At that price there is no way to beat it. I've used and abused mine and it hold zero every time. From 200 mile ski-doo trips to dropping it in the bottom of the boat. Never any worries. great scope.

I have read that the ff2 line Is made in the phillipines, however I beleive the rest of the scopes are made in the U.S. I have a black dsiamond and it has made in U.S. written on the side.

?

Mine says 'made in Phillipines'

Where is this written?

I looked on the scope and factory box and I can't find where it's made.

I have a Burris compact and it's written "made in the USA" on the eyepiece...

I want to know if I was wrong on my above reply and that I insisted when I got it from the store owner, that I wanted a scope made in the USA.

Steyrtac, I beleive only the ff2 line is made overseas, all others in the states. Of course I could be wrong but I have read this many times on other forums.
