I am considering a 4.5x14 with the turret range dial for my 257 weebee. Has anyone got first hand experience with one of these? The dial seems a bit mushy. Also wondering about the clearity of the lens.

You can adjust the tension on them, that will help. I rigged up a 22-250 with one and think you get a lot for your dollar with this scope.
Clarity is very good but never checked at low light yet or really paid attention to "haze" on outer edges, ill maybe check next time but that's usually for that 200 range scopes.
The dial seemed to perform good and returned to zero, I didn't box test it. Did hit some steel at 650 though.
So, like the scope quite a bit but haven't put it through a fancy scope test and probably won't, works plenty well enough and I would get another one as well.

Thanks guys. I may buy one!

As an alternative in that mag range maybe consider a Nikon Prostaff 5 3.5-14. Apparently the Prostaff5 line is a better scope than the regular prostaff line. I just put one on my 257 and am pretty happy with the glass. It's more scope than I originally wanted but one of the vendors here has them on sale for a really good price so I thought I'd give it a try. So far so good.

That's a good option in that price range as well if you don't want to dial up, but its kinda fun. gonna try one of them as well sometime over winter maybe. Nikon also is good value for your money.

When I researched the C4 I googled a bit and couple guys on 24hr Fire that like to stretch it out we're fairly impressed with the scope, if ya read the specs the 30mm tube has more adjustment depending how far ya want to go.
