Hey guys, just wondering if anyone is using the Fastfire and if you have any issues or feedback to give. Looking to put it on a 1911.

I have the ff3. Bought it used off the EE for quite a deal. Too good in fact, as after 3 shots on the sks the battery cover flew off. Turned out the threads on the battery cover were stripped.
Sent it to Burris in Colorado in early June. I received a brand new unit 2 days ago. I've mounted it but haven't fired (yes I'm dying to get to the range).
Therefore, two things I can say about the FF3 is:
1) I'm impressed by the Burris warranty. I would buy from them again just based on them upholding their lifetime transferable warranty on what was likely user error damage.
2) DONT OVER TIGHTEN the battery compartment. (kinda goes along with read the instructions...)

I will agree. I had one on my turkey gun. I fell in the woods and broke the lens. Filled out the repair form and set it in they sent me a brand new one for free. They work great. I have 2 of them. One even mounted to the slide of the p226 and it has no issues taking that beating.

I have 2 Fastfire III have one mounted on a 1911 and the other on a Python. They are small and light weight. I like them. Got them because my eyes are not as good as they used to be and I had a hard time seeing the sights on the guns.
