Hey guys~took an hour last night to look over a pile of Leupold scopes I'd been researching online, then expanded the window shopping to every scope I've never looked through. Fortunately...a slow night at Bass Pro.
The scope that probably impressed me most for the price was the Burris Fullfield E1 3-9x40. Really bright glass, clean/fine reticle, etc. They didn't have a 4.5-14x42 AO in stock but based on how much I liked the 3-9x, it might be the scope I end-up getting for my 17M2, where the shots will be 50-125 yards.
Do any of you have this scope? What are your impressions of it? What caliber of rifle are you using it on, and how has it held-up? 17M2 is hardly punishing recoil, and 3-9x would be enough magnification for it...just don't want a rimfire scope without AO.
Looking forward to your replies.
