Burris laser scope

Looking at buying a Burris laser range finding scope and ran into a article
by one of the shooting magazines from a few years back saying that both
the Burris and the Bushnell laser scopes they were testing both failed to
be able to range targets in -6 C and colder-has anyone heard of this or was
this something that plagued earlier models.

I would also look into warrenty on these types of scopes. As I understand it they only have warrenty on the range finder and when it runs out your not covered anymore on the optics, which would be a 1 year warrenty.
