I just bought a slightly used scout scope by burris...5 shots on my 308 and the cross hairs began to rotate inside the scope....I thought I was seeing things....3 more shots and it got worse.....has anyone else had this problem?....does burris have a canadian warranty center?.ahhhhhh.........deer season.....

I have had this problem, but not on a Burris. Once on a Weaver and once on a Super Sniper. I believe all Burris warranty is stateside, but I could be wrong, I've never needed it. I have two of these Burris Scout Scopes, never had a problem with either of them, sorry to hear you got a Friday scope. - dan

That one hasn't happened to me, but I swapped my Burris for an old Leupold 2X EER when the adjustments on the Burris became all but impossible to move. Perhaps the problems are related. Unfortunately I don't think that there is anywhere in Canada that will fix Burris, although you might try Trace Scope Repair. They specialize in Weaver, but I think their add said they would consider some other scopes. Let us know how you make out.

Burris is pretty good to deal with but your scopes going stateside(Mine took a total of 2 months to resolve the problem) better start looking for a nice Leupold.

Ah ha ha ha! Nice one.

At least you don't have to ship it south. How do you like it? I need a scout scope for my M14 and I'm not sure which would be better, the burris at 2.75x or the Leupold at 2.5x. The decision would be much easier if Leupold still offered the scout scope with the No. 1 german reticle, but now all they have is duplex.
