So I recently bought a used Burris Fastfire 3. Got a good deal, until I opened the package and found the glass had a crack in it. If I sent this to Burris would they cover it?

Obviously weighing my options.

Well I just got off the phone with Burris USA. I will be sending the sight to them to be fixed via warranty. I might come out ahead in this matter but still a hassle regardless. I bought the sight off of the EE here. That's all I'll say in this thread.

I had a Burris scope that had gotten damages in shipping as well. I called Burris and they said to send it in. I told them that it was not a warranty situation and I would pay for it as it was no fault of theres. At that time they said a new tube was $90. I told them to give me a quote to repair it after they got it.
I called Burris about a week later to see what they thought. I was a little shocked when they told me that they had installed a new tube and did what ever else it needed. I asked how they wanted payment and I was told no charge. I again tolfd them it was damage from shipping and not there fault. Burris would not take payment for the repair.
I thought that this was amazing customer service.

Pretty positive the will replace it, i sent one in 4 months ago with a glass issue it was a 3moa, i had actually forgot to take the pic mount off the sight as i assumed it would be repaired and not replaced. About 2 months later a new one showed up in the mail i was pretty exicited at first until i opened it and it was an 8moa with no pic mount, so i contacted Burris and let them no the situation, they claimed they sent the 8moa by mistake and forgot about the mount, i told them I wanted a 3moa, they said they have none in stock and are waiting for a new batch wich will then be in QC for 2 weeks, another month goes by, i contact them again, they said sorry we didnt have enough units to provide you a replacement hopefully the next batch...OMG. So now in the 4th plus month it is being shipped. They also claimed in their emails that warranty replacements get filled 1st before new orders, im not sure i beleive that.

I emailed Burris on Tuesday asking if their "Forever warranty" covers everything or just the optical portion, still waiting for a response.

Have heard the diode is only 1 year warranty, wanted to confirm.

I had a FFII 3-9 develop a bit of parallax. Sent it to Burris through Stoeger. Turnaround was about 6 weeks or so. They detailed and itemized everything they did and e-mailed me progress reports.

I was already a big Burris fan, now even more so.
