I've been looking at these scopes and would be curious if anyone can provide an objective feedback. I see they are made in Japan so in theory these should be good scopes but it does not hurt to hear from someone with first hand experience. I'm primarily interested how accurate their tracking is since I'd like to put it on my precision rig and because of their 34mm tube, all of my 30mm rings would be useless, which adds more to my cost.
Thanks for any input.

The XTR-II 34mm Tube has a quality/beefy build feel.

The tracking was extensively tested by users on Snipershide and it was repeatable and returned to zero.

Are the optics as good a S&B, NF etc? No

But for half the price you get a pretty good scope with lifetime warranty.

You can usually pick them up in EE for 1200-$1300.

There are a couple of these that show up at SAPRL matches and from what I have heard from their users echoes 350 Mag's assessment. They track well, good value, repeatable etc.

On Saturday there was some pretty bad smoke due to the wild fires and one user was commenting it was getting hard to see some of the targets. The higher end scopes were not having as much of an issue.

If they are in your budget I wouldn't hesitate. I also like the DMR/DMRII line from Bushy.

Can't speak about the XTR, but I have the 4-20 XTR II and it's made in the Philippines.

You get a lot for the money, very well built/robust scope, 34mm tube, illumination, zero-stop, life-time warranty and, imo, a great reticle. The Turret feel is nice and solid. The glass is pretty good but I do find the eyebox gets a little tight/unforgiving at max power.

This has been my only hesitation on getting the 2-10.
