Does anyone know which way Burris measures the height for the XTR Signature rings? The 34mm version is available in "High" 1.0" and "Extra High" 1.5". Does that measurement indicate top of rail to underside of tube or top of rail to center of tube?

Awesome rings, I have the 34mm x 1.5's (and 30mm x 1.0's on another rifle)

Will 30 mm rings 1.0" tall have clearance to barrel for a 50mm obj when using the 40moa cant inserts ?
with bases or is a rail recommended for added height?
or would the 1.25 be a better choice for all-round fit?

also will 34 mm 1.0" tall fit a 56mm ? next step is 1.5" which is a big jump

Paul T ? whats your set-up?

I now have 4 sets, all using 5 and 0 inserts except the T1x which has 5 and 20:

T1x with a 20MOA rail and IBI barrel. Athlon 5-25x56 (34mm) with 1.5" high rings - have approx 3/8" clearance - 1" would not work with this setup, unfortunately they don't make a 1.25" with 34mm tube

CZ455 with a 0MOA rail and varmint barrel (22LR). Athlon 2.5-15x50 (30mm) with 1" high rings - have approx 1/4" clearance scope to barrel
CZ455 with a 0MOA rail and varmint barrel (17HMR). Athlon 6-24x50 (30mm) with 1.5" high rings - have approx 5/8" clearance - a 1.0 or 1.25" in 30mm set would not work on this due to bolt handle I have.....
T3X with a 0MOA rail and stock barrel. Leupold 3.5-10x40 (30mm) with 1" high rings - have approx 5/8" clearance
