I was wondering if anybody has used the new Burris XTR line of tactical scopes yet? I read about them in the latest Shooting Times. I was looking at the 3X-12X-50mm (Olive p/n201912) in Olive Drab. Pretty sharp looking and seems like its a robust, well built scope. Here are the details:
Features of the XTR Xtreme Tactical Riflescopes include:
• 25% Thicker Outer Tube Wall cross section resulting in 42% more strength.
• Integrated Eyepiece and Power Ring with deep relief grooves for maximum durability and swiftness in changing magnification.
• Ballistic Mil-Dot Reticle for simple, fast and reliable trajectory compensation.
• Fully Integrated Side turret mounted illumination system.
• Index-Matched HiLume Multicoating on every lens surface for maximum clarity and brightness.
• Extra Large Internal Lenses for maximum brightness.
• Ultra-Premium Quality Lenses for outstanding resolution and clarity.
• Side turret mounted parallax adjust system.
• Double-Force coil spring suspension system for the ultimate in accuracy.
• Waterproof, Fogproof, Shockproof and Warranted Forever.
I wonder how this compares to the equivalent Leupold Tactical?
