Bushmaster 308's

Too bad, but the AR-10's are still around.

Quite frankly, if they weren't restricted I think they'd be a great bush/camp gun, but as a range queen you might as well be shooting .223.
 
Back in the day, before CA was in effect, I've hunted with an original Dutch AI Sudanese AR 10 I made into a shorty 18 1/2". I've also shot pins and 3 gun matches with the ten. Nothing I've seen since is better at COMBINING fast repeat shots AND accuracy.
NOTHING!

However,
I will soon be playing with .300 whisper in an AR 15.

But I still want another AR 10. I fondled an Armalite 16" Flat Top carbine with VLTOR stock. Neat. and affordable too. Apparently the US has no market for the AR 10 rifles. This is probably why Bushmaster is discontinuing them and also I was told, why OLY never started making them.

Too bad ... the old originals AR 10swere, and the new Ar 15 hybrids are, great guns.
