Bushmaster Carbon 15 21 9mm

Anyone have any experience with this AR15 style pistol? The upper and lower are made of a polymer resin that is supposed to be lighter (but is it as durable)?

Ive read about Kabooms! with the older units with HOT reloads, but for stamdard factory 115 grain 9mm would this be problematic?

Lastly anyone know if the butt is easliy replaced to accomodate a standard CAR stock?

Thats a bummer. Ive heard of Kb, but what was the problem with your unit? Did Bushmaster take care of the problem under warranty?

Anyone know if the RRA mags that are being imported through Questar will fit the Bushmaster?

They look identical and I know that the RRA mags will work with a Colt.

my brother bought the 223 Carbon AR and we have put close to 1000rds threw it with out a single hitch......I don't really care for it(it shoots very good!!!)as if feels like a toy..but if we could carry theses for hunting I would have one in the trunk of my Civic

Shoots great.
Colt mags, not one problem.

Can anyone confirm if the rear buffer is the standard type? ie: Can I switch a proper stock buffer on this model?

I've had one for exactly one year now. Only about 300 rounds through it but fun and accurate with an Eotech sight on top. A little big and bulky but fun. It's not quite a pistol and it's not quite a rifle but it's fun. Putting the foam pad on the buffer tube up to your cheek works pretty well. Closest we can get to a short barrel rifle in the States without lots of paperwork.
