Hello everyone. Been lurking for some time now and gotten a lot of great information off the site. Now I need some help.
I was in my local gun shop today inquiring about a 22 upper for my Bushmaster XM15 in order to get some low cost practice in. And he says that instead I should just buy a dedicated 22 AR for practicing with. At first I thought that it would be much too expensive. But he goes to the back and come out with a Bushmaster Carbon 15 22 (Model AS 15910) for $750. I know it was a lot for a 22 but I was expecting to pay $500 – 600 for the upper conversion. So I now own it, just waiting on the permit to bring it home. I'll take some pictures of it once it arrives home if you guys want.
So the question I have is has anyone had any experience with it? And where or if I can get some higher capacity magazines to use with this rifle.
