Oh, please don't say you're glad about that one being gone! It was a really decent rifle from what I've read - good balance, strong internals, etc., etc. In fact, it sounds a lot like Keith's: those who liked it, liked it a lot.

Of course, it was taken off the production line after the advent of the Carbon-15 line....

It looks like a poor man's FAMAS. Personally I like the looks of the FAMAS a lot better.

The M17S was a P.O.S from what I've read ,only slightly more reliable than an Aussie Leader T2

Can you point it out on the list I just did a quick read and didn’t see it. Version 3.5 of the FRT lists it as non restricted.
