Bushnell 1x32 Trophy Red Dot came with NO Amber Bright Lens

So I just bought a Bushnell Trophy 1x32 red and greet t-dot Scope from Wholesale sports in langley BC

The picture on the box, all of the pictures online show the front lense with an orange reflective colour. They call it Amber Bright I believe.

The item number is 730132p and it was a good deal at $199 and had no orange lense

At wanstalls they have the same model number 730132p for $309 EXACT same box and barcode and info on boxes

So I called wholesale sports and they said non of theirs in stock had an orange lense.


My question is: Was there a change from one model year to the next??? or is this item defective???

It is not the end of the world to not have the orange Amber Bright hue to the lens and I am certainly not buying the one for a 109 more just to have it.
 
Sorry I cant say if there was a model change or not but I bought the exact same T-dot(just check the box for the part number) from Wholesale sports in Langley last boxing day for $179.99 and it does have the amber bright lens.
 
I thought about getting one of these not too long ago. Read some mixed reviews about them being out alignment and needing to be exchanged etc. Would be nice to get some honest report on how the perform and if they hold zero. :)

Edit: Just found some reviews on CGN. Most in favor of it for the price. Is the finish rubberized?

Just picked one up, and it has been worth every penny. Mounted on my XCR 7.62x39, haven't had an issue so far and holds a zero very well.
 
I've been quite happy with mine, mounted on a 10/22.

Only complaint would be that the zero is slightly off when you switch from one reticle style to another.

Has held zero for over 1000 rounds on the fine dot setting, but if I switch to circle dot, it's off by about 3 inches at 50 yards.

When I switch back to the fine dot - the zero comes back as well.

Well damn that must be another difference in model year. Mine is fixed t-dot style red or green. NOT Rubberized but very heavy duty rugged mount.

I cannot switch reticle styles with this model.

I hammered 200 rounds through to truly zero it at our indoor range at 15 metres (all I could so far). using my JR Carbine 9mm. it was getting two inch groupings which is great for me.

So Bottom line I AM happy with what i got and I am sure there is a slight difference between models with the same model number 730132p. Likely Bushnell has more than one factory to produce their products which is completely normal for fatories these days.

lastly I prefer green on the lowest setting for indoor shooting. Have not shot it outdoor yet with the Bushnell mounted. I will this weekend and post a report with pics

Sorry, mines actually the 1x28 model. It's a little different with a smaller profile.
