Got the scope with the 70s Winchester 150 .22 lever I got. Unbeknown to me the previous owner lubed the focus rings and everything else for nice smooth operation, which after 6 months has seeped into the scope and is covering the glass from the inside with a fine layer of oil.
I tried to take the scope apart, but not having much luck, other the the eye piece that screws off. Do any parts come off, tools needed, or just fill it up with pure alcohol and hope for the best?
