Bushnell banner 4-16x40 illuminated

I saw a Bushnell banner 4-16x40 illuminated on sale for 99.99 plus tax at my local gun store. I'm looking to put this scope on a savage r17 .17hmr. Would this be a good choice of scope? I don't want to spend more than $100.

Given your 100 dollar max, you probably won't find anything better.

These were never an expensive scope to start with, but that price is "decent" for what you are getting.
