Just picked up a Banner II 4-12x40 for my RUGER AMERICAN PREDATOR. Before you bash the Bushnell, it was 100$ and going on a 500$ gun designed to hit deer under 200y in NS. I currently have a 75$ used Banner 1 right now and got my first tag punched out (2 minutes before dark!).
Sadly, they locked most of the ballistic app options behind a purchase of a new rangefinder (I have an older one of theirs from a friend). The manual just says its for 200/300/400/500 and not calibrated for 308.
Does anyone have the MOA translation for one of these?
If you DO have access to the app, could you generate me a DOPE card? 18" barrel, 1:8 twist, 180gr BTSP S+B ammo. I think 1.5" above bore but I can measure that.
My only local range is only open 9-430 otherwise I'd just go there, zero to 100 and then use a grid target to figure out the spacings.
PS: What do you think about leaving it on the Ruger, and just find out what 4MOA looks like on the duplex reticle (theoretical drop at 250y) as that's basically all I'll be shooting at) and throw this BDC on my plinker 22 that I shoot at between 50-200y with?
