My last outing to the range my Bushnell 3200 2x7 magnification ring jammed up.
Locked up solid.
I took it into the Bushnell repair depot in Vaughn ontario just outside Toronto.

I explained to the nice lady at the counter what was wrong with it and she gave me a paper to fill out , just name and address and phone. She went into the back room and came out 2 mins later and said it was a loose screw inside..
She said they would just give me a new scope.

I got a brand new in the box Elite 2x7 and was back in my car in less than 10 mins no questions asked.

That's what I call customer service ! That's what makes repeat customers.

I like the rain guard on the bushnells. I have 4 of them and when coyote hunting in poor weather I find the rain guard very good.

I don't know what the general consensus is out there for Bushnell scopes but they have served me well.

I just had to give them credit for a good customer service experience

my shotgun broke my trs25 after only 40 slugs unfortunately i dont live near the repair depot..

DO you think they will be as nice as they were with you?

I know i didnt even contacted them was like #### i ve bought some cheap optic for my 1st optic im gonna get a better one next time..

I was at the Orangeville gun show back in August with a couple of friends. One bought a Bushnell spotting scope in a case in 'like new' condition. Looked to be functioning okay till he took it home and tried it in the field where he found the optice were severly off. He took it to the Vaughn repair depot as well. They took it in, took it into the back and came out 2 minutes later with a brand new one in a box! Boy was he happy! With that kind of service, you can bet I'll be buying Bushnell for any and all of my optic needs!! :)

On an another note, bought a collection of stuff from a dealer last year. Realized that there was stuff in there that I wouldn't be using for a while so decided to sell some of the pices off. One was a Leupold RX-1000i laser range finder. When we went to try it for the first time with a new battery, looked like it was working but then.. nothing. Tried it again with another new battery. Nothing. Would start up like it was going to work then die when about to give the range reading.

Now here is the good part. Contacted Leupold service contact in Canada, said send it to us and we'll look at it and give an estimate. Decided to cal USA head office. Spoke to a fellow in the service department and he gave me instructions on how to send it directly to them, and advised to ensure to provide a return address. Long story short, brand new Leupold RX-1000i received in the mail!

Leupold and Bushnell both provide awesome service! Well worth considering them in any of your future purchases. I was at Cabelas yesterday and saw that they had the Nikon Aculon Laser rangefinder on special for $199 and the Leupold RX-1000i for $419. Leupold has lifetime warranty and Nikon is 3 year limited warranty. I guess you get what you pay for! :)

Just a quick correction, the Nikon Rangefinder warranty is only two years. All other product is lifetime but unfortunately lasers/ electronics in rangefinders generally don't hold up like a straight optic so they are limited.

Can't speak to the Leupold, you'd have to contact Korth. :)

Edit: Just checked out the Leupold site and it turns out their electronics are two years as well. However its their choice to offer lifetime if they wish. As mentioned I can't speak for them.
