I had an older Bushnell scope on my .223 Savage bolt, it was a Gold Series.

Noticed all these little dots when looking thru the scope.

Contacted Bushnell via email, sent a cheque for 10.00.

Called them, a very helpful nice guy answers explains what they will do, he then sends an email with UPS tracking.

Month later a brand scope shows up!!!

No questions, going forward as Bushnell repair is in Canada, and they have a lifetime warranty, I will only buy Bushnell now. :)

Bushnell is by far the best to deal with as far as warranty and service goes. No questions asked, no playing the blame game and will warranty the replacement they send you without any conditions!

Wish the same could be said about the Burris I paid 3x as much for. Going forward it's only bushnell and leupold for me.

They also won't tell you that you overtightened your rings on the return slip (no matter what the ACTUAL reason the scope failed was), unlike another brand. ;)

Probably some of the only "Customer Service" folks that actually like their jobs! Great warranty service for sure.

tell us more about that other brand?

I'm referring to Vortex. lol

There have been many people that sent back defective scopes and it's often blamed on over-tightening the rings and crushing the tube. But the one guy on CGN used a calibrated precision torque driver set to 15in/# and they still claimed he over-torqued the rings lol.

I'm suspicious that Vortex maybe uses thinner wall thickness tubes.......but no one has ever let me cut one in half to confirm my theory LMAO

Not that I've never had problems with Bushnell.......but they've been pretty good to me.

Not my experience...

But why not cut one in half? They will replace it

I’ve got 2 x Bushy HDMR2 scopes with H59... both are fantastic
I’ve got 4 Vortex scopes/products (binoculars make 5) and I love them all for the price point.

All my clients get to shoot these rifles and sample them. I love both brands for their warranty service which I have used with great success. Life is good.

I’m most thankful for super service from these vendor’s warranty shops.

Peace Be To Journey!
Cheers, Barney
