I sent in Bushnell 3200 10x40 for repair 10 weeks ago. I have emailed Bushnell a couple of times about it. Each time I get a reply back saying "another 4 weeks". Has anyone here recently sent in a scope for repair? How long of a wait are you experiencing?

My experiences were about 10yrs ago, and they were excellent. I sent in a 12yr old trophy, and they express shipped me an Elite model 3 days later valued at twice the original purchase price of my Trophy model, so I cannot complain. I also had them replace a pair of Bino's with no problem at all.

Of course this was a while ago, so maybe that great service has now gone down the toilet.

An update to this post: I called Bushnell and asked to speak with a manager. I explained the situation to him. I believe his name was Steve. He called me back a couple of hours later and said the scope would have to be replaced. They didn't have any 10x40's in stock but said I could wait until they were in stock or if I wanted he would send me a 3200 3x9x50. I opted for the 3x9. Steve called back a short time later with a UPS tracking number. I guess it helps to complain....

I sent in some binoculars a few years ago which had a lifetime warranty I didn't know about because I bought them used. I asked them to check them over and send me an estimate. It took a few months, but they never contacted me, just went ahead and fixed them, no charge.

For the price, I think Bushnell offers some good value equipment. I can't see anything through Zeiss binoculars nor hit anything with a Leupold scope because Zeiss and Leupold stuff is stuck under the counter at the gun store because I can't afford it. And I wouldn't assume Zeiss or Leupold could make stuff any better than Bushnell does if they had to sell it profitably at the lower price range that Bushnell serves.
