I recently picked up a DMR2 pro and took it to the range last week to sight it in and noticed at 50yards the parallex had to be set close to the 75yd mark and at 100yard it had to be set past the 100 mark.

Has anyone with a DMR2 pro noticed this? Asking because I upgraded from the standard DMR2i and parallex marks were spot on.

I did contact Bushnell and they said I could send it in for inspection but wanted to know your guys thoughts first.

Thanks

The distances marked on the scope are general approximations only and very rarely are they accurate. Use them as such and set the parallax through trial & error then use a piece of tape and mark the accurate distances on the tape. As mentioned, some scopes do not have actual distances marked on them at all.

If you look at different makers/models of scopes you'll notice many of them don't put specific range marking on the parallax knob. This is because a number of factors determine what makes an image parallax free, which can vary person to person. I still like to have the markings as a quick reference, most of the time it gets me close to where I need to be but it always needs fine tuning.

The good thing about that on dmr 2 pro is I find that that the marked 50 yrd parralax is around 35 yrds on mine.
