What is the different between these two 10x40 bushnell scopes?

- ELITE TACTICAL 10x40
- ELITE 3200 10x40

The tactical is $100 more...... just brilliant marketing?? Do they have the same glasses?

Make sure it has mildots and large tactical knobs, if that's what you are after. I can't comment on your scopes, but only the one's marked tactical in the Bushnell line had the large knobs, of the two bushnell scopes I have (6-24x50 and 5-15x40).

The Elite 3200 and 4200 have been discontinued. It's now just Elite.

The new Elite line is similar to the 4200 line with a few upgrades.

We have a few of the new Elite 10x40's in stock.

Only thing I know is that the 3200's are being closed out and can be found at a good bargain. I just picked up new, but boxless, 3200 10x40 tactical for $129.99 at my local gun shop. I'm pretty tickled.

I purchased one of the new Bushnell Elite Tac 10X scopes from OST about a month ago. It has blacked out cosmetics, is argon filled as opposed to nitrogen and seems to have finer crosshairs in the mildot reticle.....and contrary to popular belief does not accept a sunshade.
The old 3200 10X was nitrogen filled and had gold colored cosmetics.
