I just purchased a Bushnell Elite 3200 2-6X handgun scope to put onto my 7.5" Ruger Super Redhawk 454 Casull from Shane @ Reliable Gun in Vancouver Thursday.
I walked into the store and was greated immediately by Shane who helped me right away. After spending about 10 minutes with me, I left him to check out the rest of the store. Right away another fellow came over and asked if I needed any help. I chatted with him about trigger locks then moved over to the handgun section where another fellow asked if he could help me out.
Excellent service....... I left the store with 2lbs Varget (they still had another 25lbs left in stock), the scope and a box of 50 .458 Hornady HP's.
I loaded up 85 240gr XTP-Mag with 38grs H110 and Rem 7.5 primers which gives me 1900fps and headed up the to Mission club for a day of shooting some rifles and sighting in of the new scope.
I fired 45 of the 240gr loads and 8 of my 1625fps 300gr XTP-Mag's and Gold Dot FP loads.
Scope worked fantastic so far giving me an average of 1.2" 25 yard groups 3" 50 yard groups but things started to open up a little @ 100 yards with groups going from 6" to 12". Talk about tough to hold a handgun scope still....
At 210 metres is a huge tractor tire with a 12" gong hanging in the middle of it. I got one of the guys that was shooting with me to spot for me. I missed the first 2 shots and then hit the gong 8 out of the next 10 shots.
So far I am very happy with this scope.
