Hi all. I had my Savage 111 out for the 1st half of deer season this year. It rained pretty much every day.
My wife bought me the.rifle a while back and
Also got the Bushnell elite 3200 in 2-7× .
The 3rd day out and we are talking about a scope that's
had 20 rounds fired with it on the rifle and in the field use it's seen may be 10 hours or So?
Anyway it fogged up so badly that you couldn't see thru it.
Is this typical? Or did I just get a dud?

Send it in to Bushynill.
You may not git that partickyewlar scope back, but it's replacemint.
Take the repair one, tawszit in the EE and find yerself a comparible Leupold.

Jest me kupple dawllah.

was the fog internal or on the outside?

^^^ This, if its fogged internally return it to Bushnell, (Keele st. & 407) They usually exchange after testing it within a few minutes if you go in person. Or you can ship it to them. They are normally pretty good scopes as the Elite series are the higher end line for them.

I have had about 15 of the Elites over the years on everything from a 25-06 to a .338 winmag. They all held up great to lots of cold weather and recoil. Even the best scopes occasionally lose a seal. The warranty dept is great. You should be up and running shortly. (From what I've heard, never had to use them personally)

The rainguard coating on the 3200 is far superior to what is used on comparably priced Leupold.
Send it in and have it resealed and no its not a common issue.
