i have the bushnell but very little shooting time on it so far. 6" of eye relief means you need to account for some forward mounting scheme. as far as low light, it's 8pm here so i just turned off the indoor lights and with only the monitor giving "light", i can see stuff as well as with the naked eye at 1.25x. so then i took just the scope outside (no rifle) and at 1.25x and at 8x, it's nice and bright. at 1.25x it's basically same as your eye with a crosshair. at 8x a white car or a tree near a streetlight is very clear. edge-to-edge brightness is very uniform at 8x.
