Any opinions? I found one in good condition. Barely any ring marks, a couple paint chips but nothing major. Glass is in great condition too. Hes asking $650 for it. Is that fair?

I think this is a great fit for my 6.5x284

I would like more magnification but I think 16 power is good for myself. I cant really afford any new higher power optics at the moment. Thus, this 'quality' used scope would be a good fit for my savage 111 LRH.

The 6500 is good quality, no ' ' needed.
I've had one for 5 years, on a long range gun, used in the bush. It's a tough scope with great glass.
It should serve you well.

Bushnells higher end offerings suffer in reputation due to the ubiquity of their cheaper end products. Their made in Japan scopes have always been great quality with excellent glass for the money. Unfortunately, many people judge their entire product line based on the performance of the entry level stuff,

Great scope, a little heavy. I find the elites get a bit of a fussy eyebox at max magnification, if you go a little higher than you think you need, you can always dial it back.

I think I saw a 4.5-30 on the EE for $600 or $650 recently.
