I've just obtained my first mildot scope - a used Bushnell Elite 10x40.
The heft, solidity and clarity are all impressive but I'm a little disappointed in the reticle - the dots are quite a bit smaller than I expected. It seems quite difficult to 'guesstimate' fractions of a 'space' (= 1 mil) when the tiny dots are so much smaller than one 'space'.
Can anyone confirm whether these dots are (in diameter) 0.2 mil or 0.25 mil, or whatever? And the thickness of the posts?
Thanks!
